I flew in on a Sunday night and had a place to stay by the Zoo for a week. Chris answered any questions I had.
Monday morning I was excited 2 walk 20min to grab the board and charger.
Chris had the instructions down to a key.
I got the board and headed for a loop around diamond head.I wheeled the Wakiki area for 7 days. The extended battery life was amazing.
The downfall is that the OW kept asking 2 upgrade the firmware.
So I'd only connect to check the Battery life and turn off/on the light.
Totally Recommend renting this unit. It had a secure fender and a aggressive Hooster tire. Great on the grass and sand.
I would definatly do the same for my next visit. I rolled 82km

NoneMy family and I were on the island for a week vacation, and we rented x2 cbxr onewheels. Chris was very accommodating and flexible with our pick ups. The pricing for renting was also very fair. The onewheels were in excellent condition, and the larger capacity chi batteries that were installed to each XR were a huge plus, since they doubled the stock range, so we didn’t have to worry about running out of juice each day. Exploring the trails on Oahu, and meeting and riding with other onewheel people on the island was an incredible experience. Would definitely rent here again.

NoneGreat renter and excellent product. We rented a Onewheel PintX for my son and Christopher took the time to show us everything when we picked it up, and also how to ride it. He even let my son try it out on his driveway to get the hang of it before we left with the Onewheel. Christopher even had safety gear available for my son to use so that was really helpful since it was his first time riding a Onewheel. My son quickly got used to it and had lots of fun with the Onewheel at the local beach parks. Returning it was easy too. We would've liked to rent it longer but didn't have enough time on our trip, but will definitely use Christopher again for other rentals when we come back out to Honolulu.

Had a short tutorial on how to use and felt confident enough to ride around the street within 30 mins. Then by third day was riding up n down large hills and for miles. Great experience and highly recommend Chris if you’re thinking of purchasing a One Wheel but are unsure of if you’ll like it or what model to get. Will recommend all prospective buyer rent from him before purchasing.

NoneTaking a family vacation to Hawaii is already almost a guaranteed amazing experience. Being able to rent a onewheel there seemed almost too good to be true. Chris made it so easy for me and took any stress I had away about receiving it from him and the return back. And the boards were in excellent condition and not one issue riding them. Great battery life. I want to book another vacation just to be able to ride in Hawaii again. So many places to ride and each more beautiful than the next. Thanks Chris. 🤙🏻

Seattle, WA, USAI recently rented two onewheels with Christopher. We had a perfect experience. As I never used FriendsWithA… before I had some questions. He was quick to respond and very accommodating, even offered to delivery to Waikiki beach. The onewheels were in great shape, fully charged, ready to ride. Christopher provided us with chargers and helmets. Return was uncomplicated.

NoneThis is a great board to ride up and down the Waikiki area. It made my trip super easy since I didn't want to grab a rideshare if I didn't need to. Most places I needed to visit let me carry it in or set it somewhere safe while I conducted my business. One thing to be aware of is where the board is and isn't allowed. Just to be safe, I ended up on the bike lanes with the electric scooters. The extended range added a couple extra miles to my journey before each charge. The board has a battery meter on it in case you can't connect with the OW app. That being said, if Christopher's XR is available, book it because the extra power and range is well worth the extra money.

NoneChris was incredibly communicative, friendly, accommodating, and flexible. Our two weeks on Oahu were so incredibly enriched by the ability to go Onewheeling whenever we wanted. We had a small snag with the battery life of one of the boards, but Chris invited us to come by and swap it out for another, and we had no further problems from there. I genuinely hope I can rent from Chris every time I'm in town!

NoneChris was great. And easy to work with in regards to pickup and drop off. This is the 2nd time I rented w/ Chris when we go to Oahu. He is always reliable and gives us great tips of where to go to have a nice ride.
This time we took it to the North Shore and rode around the stables around Turtle Bay. -
NoneMade my stay in Oahu way more enjoyable. Alot of things aren't walking distance and parking is expensive. Being able to zip around, quickly explore, and fetch affordable food was great.

NoneAwesome time renting from Chris! Wasn’t planning to float but definitely glad we did, no better way to explore the island. Chris was quick to respond to any questions and accommodating to our travel schedule and transportation. The extended batteries were definitely useful as well, wouldn’t hesitate to rent from him again!

NoneChris was very down to earth when I met him to pick up the Onewheel Pint. He gave very good tips for beginners like me who's never gotten up on one before. He's also very good when trying to get in contact, pretty fast responses from my experience. Overall, I'd recommend him and will definitely rent his Onewheeel Pint again in the near future!
