The Tucktec Foldable Kayak is extremely portable and easy to deploy. It’s hard plastic body is built very strong, fits a large amount of space for cargo, was able to comfortably fit 3 nights worth of camping gear while paddling Lake Louise to Canmore with room for more space!
Very light design for a kayak (25lbs) and slices through water like butter, even stable enough to stand while fly fishing with some balance. I would advise against carrying by hand for a long distance as the shape gets uncomfortable to walk with, but im weaker than most, so its doable if you are strong!
I own the 2021 version, regarded in the Tucktec community as the best model for its durability and build quality.
200lbs max weight limit. All the ones people have folded in or buckled is because they exceeded this weight limit. This kayak has never had issues and has never been loaded past 180lbs
