This BILT HARD 16" Electric Dethatcher & Scarifier is brand new and ready to work. Whether you're pulling up dead thatch before summer or prepping bare spots for overseeding, this machine handles both jobs with a quick blade swap.
What's Included:
* BILT HARD 16" Dethatcher/Scarifier (15 Amp, 120V)
* Dethatching roller (20 spring steel tines)
* Scarifying roller (16 blades)
* 14.5-gallon thatch collection bag
* 25-foot extension cord
What It Does:
* Dethatching: Rips out dead grass and thatch buildup that's choking your lawn
* Scarifying: Cuts into soil to prep for seeding or aeration
* 5-position depth adjustment (-0.47" to +0.24") — start shallow, go deeper as needed
Power Requirements: Needs a standard 120V outdoor outlet on a dedicated 15-amp circuit. Use a 12-gauge or heavier extension cord (the 25' cord included meets this requirement).
Before You Pick It Up — Prep Your Lawn:
1. Mow shorter than usual before dethatching
2. Clear sticks, stones, and debris from the lawn
3. Soil should be slightly moist — not soaked, not bone dry
Return Requirements:
* Empty the thatch bag before return
* Return the machine clean and in the same condition you received it
* A cleaning fee will be charged if the bag is returned full or the machine is left dirty
Pickup is included. Delivery available for an additional fee — just ask when booking.
