* Returns: For round-trip paddlers launching from our yard, our backyard shoreline serves as your easy, stress-free return point.
⚠️ Crucial River Safety & Operation Rules:
The Susquehanna is beautiful but requires respect. To ensure everyone gets home safely, we enforce the following strict boundaries:
1. PFD Mandate: Life jackets must be buckled and worn by all participants at all times while on the water. No exceptions.
2. The Dauphin Narrows Hazard: The stretch upstream contains shallow rock ledges. When paddling near the Rockville Bridge, always stay aware of your positioning. We will provide a quick river briefing before you launch.
3. River Level Cut-Off: For your safety, if the USGS Harrisburg River Gauge reads above 5 feet on the day of your rental, yard-launch bookings will be automatically cancelled and fully refunded.
4. Sobriety Policy: Absolutely no alcohol or drugs are permitted on the watercraft. We reserve the right to cancel the booking immediately on-site with no refund if safety rules are violated.
