If you have come to this page looking to rent windsurf or wingfoil gear, I am afraid I no longer rent out gear directly but instead have opted to just fold the rental into actual, private lessons. I'm Ben the founder of AWKWA Training Center LLC, the only wingfoil and windsurf rental and training facility in Arizona endorsed by the AZ Windsurfing Kiteboarding and Wingfoiling Assoc. (AWKWA).

To be totally upfront, a private lesson with me isn't cheap and is more akin cost-wise to a private fly fishing guide than a lesson at a full-time school in CA or FL and will, depending on the season, range from the low to mid hundreds for a half-day lesson, which includes all equipment and safety gear (except wetsuit), customized instruction, between 4-6 hours of actual, on-water instruction (not including the dry land component). Price is all in and includes all gear (all top-name brands that I use personally), safety equipment, customized 1-on-1 instruction tailored to your abilities, and non-powered (i.e., paddle) rescues. My aim to not only have you learn safely but to give you all of the practical, real world skills (wing handling, sailing cross- and upwind, getting on foil, etc., etc.) and tricks you'll need to get your own setup and go out and progress on your own the next time, safely and confidently--whether it's here or some other destination!
