The KBar Short is a compact boot knife style tactical version of the original USMC Fighting Knife and is recommended for general utility use. Its 1095 CroVan steel is factory sharpened with partial serrations at the base of the blade which excel at quicker cutting of cordage quickly.  It’s design overall lends to hunting tasks but it’s pummel and full-tang construction make it very durable and good for hammering nuts or grinding organic material into powder.  It’s lightweight and best of all it can be vertically worn even neck knife style although I wouldn’t recommend it.  Overall it’s never been used and an excellent all rounder survival tool for most situations.
