Onewheel XR+

XR has a large footpad and an excellent board for beginners to advanced riders looking for a fun activity. We typically use them in the yard, but have found them useful in the city or on vacation adventures as well. XR is capable of around 19 mph and has a range of 18 miles per charge. The hypercharger can recharge in as little as 60 min. “Fangs” are an aftermarket component that adds 2 small wheels on the front of the board that can help in the event of nosediving. FANGS PROVIDE YOU WITH 3 BENEFITS:

1. WHEN you nosedive (not IF), you'll have more time to react and take action, rather than the instantaneous "shoulder into the ground" (and possibly collar bone breakage) many of us have experienced. Without Fangs, your board will stop almost instantly - but your body will keep going...down to the ground to meet the pavement. Fangs wheels allow the front of the board to roll with little friction, and it's this precious few seconds of extra time that can mean the difference between a minor scrape or visiting the ER for a broken collar bone.


2. Since the wheels ROLL on the ground, it saves your bumper from being scraped up and chewed through, and keeps your board free of damage for longer. Wheels are replaceable and quick to change - and far cheaper to replace than an entire bumper.


3. Then there is the FANG Drag - where you slam the nose down from a stop and ride it up to your chosen speed...there's no faster way to accelerate on a Onewheel, and it's a lot of fun to practice and train your muscle memory so that when a nose dive does occur (and it will), you can recover without a crash.
