Great experience, easy pick up and delivery thanks!

Stefan is awesome! He was so helpful in showing me how to use it and giving tips about the Onewheel. He reflected our excitement about using the Onewheel for our travels and put in the extra time to make sure we had additional charge port covers. When we returned the item he was so receptive to listening to our stories and adventures. Great guy! 10/10 would rent again from Stefan.

I came across the as in FB marketplace. I've been seeing a lot of you tuber's on them taking some epic video with go pro and drone and really wanted to go out and try to accomplish some footage of my own.
I greatly under estimated the learning curve. I consider myself highly capable. I work out daily, surfed, snowboarder and skater thru my childhood. Even with all that experience the one wheel was pretty hairy in the beginning and I even doubted I was going to pick it up. Eventually , after a couple hours of perseverance I was feeling confident in setting out to do what I wanted to . By this time though the day was half over and I was pretty frazzled. I got out my selfie stick n my go pro and made a few vids.
I NEVER mastered dismount, and BY FAR this is the most scariest, and hardest thing to get down. What didn't occur to me is that the one wheel can go both ways. Just lean forward it goes. Lean back it SLOWS , HOWEVER if you don't take your foot off the board it will then activate in the opposite direction (the way you were leaning back trying to stop) and this causes severel near groin pulls / feet pull from under you like motion. It's not like a skateboard lean back on tail and stop eventually. It will slow then activate to other direction AND IT HAPPENS VERY QUICKLY. I just had to almost come to stop then just hop off. I think I'd eventually get it..but if you're thinking any doing this just know I have years of experience with boarding, surfing etc and this was pretty scary to me. I Also DO NOT RECOMMEND LEARNING ON PAVEMENT. Learn on grass or beach WITH HELMET AND PADS but at least helmet ALL TIMES. I doubt I'd by one for my child.
As for the rental experience
It went very well. Stefan is very accommodating and personable.
The gear was well maintained , he was very knowledgeable and informative.
If I had one complaint it would be the communication HOWEVER I do not believe this a FAULT of Stefans personally, I think it may be a platform glitch/oversize?
I reached out with questions thru FriendA thru text n email a couple days before pick uo and didn't receive any response until a few hours before pick up. I think maybe that the message sits in the platform and isn't seen until either. Engaged by the seller or something is going on there idk. But at any rate when he did get the message communication was great.

Awesome guy and an easy pickup

Stefan provided an excellent rental experience with great flexibility. My son and I had a blast enjoying the Onewheel for an entire day. What's even better was that I rented the thing right from the creator of FriendWithA.... Hah! Too cool!

I had an awesome time with the onewheel I rented. I’m in the market for buying one but had to try it out first. I’m so thankful for this site and Stefan. The meet up was smooth and easy. The onewheel was basically brand new. I recommend anyone who’s interested in a onewheel to rent it first just to make sure it’s for you.

The OneWheel XR is a lot of fun and highly encourage people to get on one, especially if you like to snowboard. Stefan was flexible, communicative, and super nice! What a great business model, will definitely be frequenting this site for future items i'm interested in trying before buying.

Had a blast on Stefan's Onewheel for a week. It was my first time trying Onewheel and I'm hooked. It took me a few separate 10-15 minute rides to get the hang of it. I took it camping and rode all around the campground roads and some well maintained trails. It was great for walks with the family and chasing my toddler on her bike. I actually ordered a Onewheel for myself before I even returned the rental.

Stefan was great to rent from! Kept solid communication and made my first rental experience a positive one.

Rented a Onewheel for a day and had a blast. Very easy to learn and get comfortable on. Stefan was quick to communicate and the rental process was easy.

Excellent experience... Everything went butter smooth. Stefan was very helpful with a couple snags that came up (crappy weather one weekend) and was on time for both pick up and drop off. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family in need of cool gear!!
