The Bunch Bike Original 2.0 is the electric bike version of a minivan! Seats 4 kids with ease... plus backpacks, strollers, bikes, scooters, and all your gear. Adults can ride too! The trike format makes it super easy to handle, even for beginners. Electric assist makes it effortless.  Available for test rides, events, and rentals. Toddler booster seat is available too. If you go on to purchase your own Bunch Bike - Bunch Bike will rebate up to $250 in rental fees!
About us: I am a mom of 2 and we live in Brooklyn. We just hit 1105 miles 😎🙏 we don't own a car and we use the bunch to go everywhere. We can all fit inside and my partner drives when we go on day trips. We have not gone over to Manhattan yet. We've been to Brooklyn Bridge Park, Valentino Park in Red Hook, Atlantic Center, and varied day camps for my kids from daycare all in one scoop. It's so lovely.
*How did you find the Bunch Bike? *
My child went to summer camp a few years ago and someone there picked up their kids in it. She loved it so much and kept asking when we were going to get one. We were currently using a 2 wheel with the child carrier. It was very heavy. Still, I rode it and it felt great but cars don't give a damn about you even with a child seat. I had lots of scares alone. I rode my gold bike all summer to commute to work. It was tiring.
*How do you like riding in NYC? *
Personally, I really enjoy it. Both kids are secure inside. We are highly visible since we are as big as a smart car. I like Having the kids inside a box in front of me and electric made me feel better also. I follow the ped signs (walking person) and use the power/throlle to go through intersections. We always say the rules of the trike when new people go on it: keep hands and arms inside the box. make sure your seatbelt is secure. Have your helmet on (though it's been so hot that I've been letting slide a bit, more reason to take it easy/slow). I've had 4 kids including the baby in the bunch! There are a few other cargo bikes around and quite a bit of long tails. All carrying kids and gear. We all wave to each other :D
*Does it feel safe? *
I was just explaining to someone: on the trike, I feel more respected than on a 2 wheel bike. There is something about being eye to eye with the car and they can see the kids inside. I feel very safe because I feel seen. I take it real easy on the turns, I bring it up to the sidewalk when needed and walk it on power 0/1. It's super easy for me as am 5.1 wearing sandals or platform Crocs.
